Rob is responsible for the day-to-day operations and sales in Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, South Bend, Indiana, and Detroit and Kalamazoo, Michigan. He reviews all chiller project and service/maintenance agreement estimates, while communicating daily with the sales team as they develop value strategies for new and existing customers.
Rob also works with the service and special projects/construction divisions to coordinate manpower within the entire team to make sure work is completed as scheduled.
Expertise
Rob began working in the construction industry in 1994 with Shambaugh’s Mechanical Group. He worked with various companies throughout his career in roles of increasing responsibility, including senior financial analyst, project manager, service manager, sales account executive, and business consultant.
Rob rejoined the Shambaugh family as Director of Services for the Indianapolis EMCOR Services Shambaugh team in 2020. In 2023, he focused his talents specifically toward growing the Chiller Division and providing an exceptional level of client care within this unique customer base.
Rob earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Francis in Business Management and his master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Applied Management.
He continues to be involved and affiliated with the community and several industry-specific organizations, including:
- Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA)
- Associated General Contractors of America (AGC)
- University of St. Francis Alumni Association, Lettermen’s Club, and Mentoring Program
- Facilities Management Group (FMG)
- OneZone, Carmel, and Fishers Chambers of Commerce
The Personal Side
Rob and his wife have two children and enjoy spending time with them either boating or at a sports park watching baseball or soccer.
